   First you must be an RN. Then you can take additional classes to specialize. I’m sure there is a certification but this would require an additional nursing board after experience in the field.

   As for crime scene investigator. This is under a criminal justice degree.

   i almost knew one of those. she was a foreign sick nurse.

   Well I don’t even know what a forensic nurse is. As for forensics, there are now dedicated programs for the field. You need a strong background in math and the sciences especially bio and chem.
